Personal data processing policy

In compliance with Colombian Law 1581 of 2012, its Regulatory Decree 1377 of 2013, and other applicable regulations governing the protection of personal data in the Republic of Colombia, EMDIMO S.A.S., identified with Tax ID (NIT) 901.067.718-1 and domiciled in Bogotá D.C., Colombia (hereinafter "Emdimo" or "the Controller"), informs personal data subjects about the processing of their information through the website emdimo.co and associated domains.

2. Data collected

Through the contact form and scheduling calendar on the site, Emdimo may collect the following personal data:

  • Full name
  • Email address
  • Company name (optional)
  • Message or inquiry
  • Preferred language
  • Technical browser information (user agent) for support and traceability purposes

3. Purpose of processing

The personal data collected will be processed for the following purposes:

  • Respond to contact requests, quotations, or meeting scheduling.
  • Reply to inquiries and provide information about the services offered by Emdimo.
  • Conduct commercial follow-up with prospects and clients.
  • Comply with applicable legal and contractual obligations.
  • Retain evidence of communications for quality, support, and traceability purposes.

4. Rights of the data subject

In accordance with Article 8 of Law 1581 of 2012, the personal data subject has the following rights:

  • Know, update, and rectify their personal data.
  • Request proof of the authorization granted to the Controller for processing.
  • Be informed about the use given to their personal data.
  • File complaints with the Superintendence of Industry and Commerce (SIC) for violations of the law.
  • Revoke authorization and/or request deletion of their data when the processing does not respect constitutional and legal principles, rights, and guarantees.
  • Access their personal data that has been processed, free of charge.

5. Exercise of rights

To exercise any of the above rights, the data subject may contact us at onel.romano@emdimo.io, providing: full name and contact information, identification document, a specific description of the request (query, rectification, deletion, revocation), and any supporting evidence when applicable.

Emdimo will respond within the terms provided by law: queries within a maximum of ten (10) business days and claims within a maximum of fifteen (15) business days, extendable once for an equal term when it is not possible to attend to them within those deadlines.

6. Authorization

Voluntary submission of the contact form at emdimo.co or scheduling a meeting through the integrated calendar constitutes express and informed authorization by the data subject for the processing of their personal data for the purposes described herein.

7. Information security

Emdimo adopts reasonable technical, human, and administrative measures to protect personal data against loss, unauthorized access, improper use, disclosure, or modification. Information is stored in protected databases with Row Level Security policies and encryption in transit (TLS) and at rest.

8. International transfer

Some data may be processed through technology infrastructure services located outside Colombian territory (including but not limited to Supabase Inc., Vercel Inc., Resend Inc., and Google LLC). These providers maintain data protection standards equivalent to or higher than those required by Colombian law.

9. Effective date

This Privacy Notice takes effect upon publication. Emdimo reserves the right to modify it whenever deemed necessary, publishing the updated version on this same site. Data subjects are encouraged to review this policy periodically.
